Here is a chance for all Albion fans, worldwide, to send a message to thank Steve Gritt. All the messages will be compiled, suitably packaged and presented to Steve Gritt.

On the 11th December 1997, Steve Gritt was appointed manager of Brighton & Hove Albion. The club were lying at 92nd place in the Football League and were 11 points adrift and looking the Vauxhall Conference League in the face. The board and fans were at complete odds and there was little, if any, money to spend on the squad.

This was Steve's first job since his managerial role at Charlton, 18 months previous.
What followed that season has been well documented and culminated with the match with Hereford United at Edgar Street on the 3rd May 1997.

What Gritt, the team and the fans achieved in those last 5 months of the season, was truly magnificent and will always be part of the Albion's history.
